Jennifer Probst is a must read for me. I jump at the chance to read anything by her. Furthermore, the Searching series is one of my favorites. My favorite character is Nate. And this novella is about Nate's brother Connor.

Connor Dunkle is back in college at age 38. When he was younger, he had to take several jobs and he was the one who put Nate through school when his mother left them and his father went into a drunken stupor. Currently, Connor is almost done with his last semester. He needs to pass just one class to be able to graduate. If he doesn't graduate, he won't get the promotion he so desperately wants.

Ella Blake is the professor of Composition 102. She wants her students to think and to stop living in cliches. One look at Connor and she thinks she knows what he's all about. Conceited, handsome and having women falling over him all the time. Just as she had made up her mind about him, she discovers he is much more than that.

I like how these two characters didn't like each other at the beginning and how they developed a friendship first. Yes, they disagree in some of their views about women but the best relationships have to have some challenges, right? I love how Connor had a great relationship with Ella's son and I agree with Nate. I think he's going to be a great dad someday.

Searching for mine was enjoyable, fast-paced and left me with a big smile on my face.

To sweeten the deal, Nate and Kennedy had a couple of cameos in it.

Very matched strong characters in the classroom and out. Well thought out plot with conflicts, solutions, and frustrations on both sides. Liked the

I never thought I would enjoy Connor as much as I did. He quickly became my favourite guy in the whole series. I'd highly recommend this book. I enjoyed every minute of it and desperately needed more when it was finished. Pore raising, pulse racing, heart thumping goodness!
Perfection in a neat little package. Connor is not a bad boy he is more of not so good to women guy and he meets his match in Ella. What is great about this book is it written Jennifer Probst which is a guaranteed love, but in most cases this scenario would be some a-hole alpha type who meets his bitchy mean talking match. In this book Connor is not an alpha he is a good looking guy women kill themselves over to get to and Ella is the type that says what she has to without malice and let you stew until you realize she is right. Not what I was expecting when I found about this book but exactly what was needed! So loved it!
I'd never read Probst's other Searching For books. I simply liked the premise of the story. I was not disappointed. I actually got swept up in the story very quickly and was sad to see it over.

Ella is a strong woman who fights for what she wants, makes her own way in the world, and is determined to raise her son the best way that she knows how. Enter Connor. Not only is he arrogant, cocky, and oh so attractive, he's also her student...AND her neighbor. As they grow closer and closer, things spiral out of control and they both have some hard lessons to learn.

The characters are wonderfully written and charming. I loved every minute of this novella. I'll definitely be going back and reading Probst's other novels in this series, and likely the ones outside this series as well.
We first met Conner Dunkle in Searching for Perfect. Because that book has my favorite heroine and storyline of the series, I was able to suffer through Conner being a complete jerk whose attitude towards and treatment of women was a throwback to the 1950s. When I read that Conner would get his own story, I was shocked and curious how the author was going to pull off such a transformation. I shouldn't have worried.

The author did a superb job of proving how much he had grown since then. While a little of the old Conner sneaked through occasionally, he became a likable, driven, sweet, and-dare I say- sexy hero who quickly won Ella's bruised heart.

I must admit that I read this novella only because I'm a Probst fan. But Conner surprised me by winning me over too. You won't want to miss this addition to the Searching For series.

Searching for Mine is the story of Connor Dunkle older brother to Nate. We have met the gorgeous man, player and all around bad boy before but now we get to see what he's all about.
Connor has turned his life around somewhat going to college at age 38 looking for a better job and basically growing up finally but what he doesn't expect is meeting one very sassy English Professor in Ella Blake.
Ella Blake is a college professor, single mom and someone who who is just looking forward to moving on with her life but when one student gets under her skin and challenges it all some unexpected chemistry happens and she quickly see past the man she thinks he is to the man she knows he can truly be.
Ella and Connor are two people truly at a crossroads in life but when they come together you can't help cheering them on to see that this is what they both truly deserve and that is each other.
