I loved the start of this book. I read chapter one and was hooked. But then....sigh.....both Cameron and Ashley act like immature idiots. Lying, judging without finding out the truth, rash decision-making. Cameron is a judgmental ass, not taking into consideration what Ashley has been thru over the years. Ashley can't seem to stop pushing his buttons and then gets mad when he pushes back. She refuses to see his point of view and he throws temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way. Hard to finish because they both just annoyed the crap out of me.Tags : Dr Stanton - Kindle edition by T L Swan. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. Dr Stanton edition by T L Swan Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Oh yes please! T L SWAN what are you doing to me?!?!
I'll start by saying Dr Stanton is a Standalone BUT I would most definitely read the Stanton series first so you can meet all the characters in this read, especially the fine young Doctor prior to meeting his "the one".
This book was super sexy with some fine dirty talking and great sex! I love when characters have a dirty mouth in the bedroom, it was a real turn on!
Having read this straight after the Stanton series I knew the Doctor intermittently. He was a major player and loved "variety" shall we say. This book starts off in Vegas where he meets a woman in a nightclub and things are totally off the charts! Loved their interaction, very hot indeed, but a lost phone ended any chance of meeting up with each other the following week. Skip forward 5 years and you have a new group of interns starting their first day working with Dr Stanton... could fate have just given them a way at a lost chance of love?
Swan does such a good job at making what could be just your average run-of-the-mill story into something extraordinary! This had a massive twist which I did not see coming. I love how her books are NEVER predictable.
Once again, the characters were funny, interesting and damn right HOT! I could read about them over and over. Dr Stanton and Ashley Tucker had a great intensity in and out of bed, and the dominant came out to play! Throw in a little drama and this was a 5 star page-turner.
Once again T L proves why she was meant to write. Ladies, you are going to love this book and fall head-over-heels for this sexy new cast and returning favorites 💚💚💚
5 stars for the cast, storyline and smoking hot sex 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was my first read by this author but it certainly won’t be the last. It started hot and sexy and then kind of broke my heart. Ashley and Cameron meet on a dance floor when she grabs him, pretending that he’s her husband so she can ward off the unwanted advances of another man. They spend time together in the nightclub and she finds out, that her saviour might actually be the one she needs saving from. Following a bet, they end up spending the night together. It’s hot and sexy but in the morning, she goes to part ways as she’s going home. He gets her number though and after an unfortunate incident, he’s unable to call her. They never even learn one another’s names. Then my heart gets broken when he tries to find her still but to no avail. A bunch of years pass and Ashley’s moved to begin her internship in a hospital and guess who the doctor is she’ll be doing her internship with?
Now they’ve been reunited and finally know one another’s names, things are suddenly complicated. Ashley wants Cameron and he has never forgotten her, but Ashley has secrets and she knows once she reveals them, she’ll lose Cameron.
This was an emotional read and it bumped back and forth with the characters wanting one another and then tearing each other apart. I just wanted to knock their heads together at times. Loved it though and could barely put it down.
My first read by this author, but I am without a shadow of a doubt a fan for life.
Dr Stanton took me on this whirl wind journey featuring tears of anger, tears of laughter, sighs from swooning and sighs from frustration. The emotions coursing through me kept me turning the pages at my desk, work be dammed as I just needed to read that next sentence, that next bloody chapter. I was addicted.
I'll be the first to admit that I am a fussy cow when it comes to reading after being let down so many times so I can count on my hands how many 5 star reads I have read this year, and I am stoked to be able to add this one to my collection.
Cameron Stanton was in a complete different league of his own when it comes to book boyfriends, he was this rich a-hole who made me fall for him hook line and sinker even when at one point I wanted to junk punch him so hard - like I was sat waiting to pick up my grocery order from the supermarket angry crying whilst reading a certain part. Like what a douche bag, but then he just goes and makes me love him again and it was like I was experiencing the most intense kamikaze of roller-coasters and there was no way I was getting off early.
Ashley Tucker was awesome, I am not gonna lie, there was a point in the book where I just wanted to reach in and shake her and be like "just do it already you dumb bint" I still loved her honor, her pride and her amazing personality. The way she stood up for what she wanted and knew when to accept help was inspiring for all females to read. Heroines in stories are one of the main reasons I don't tend to read a lot of M/F but Bloss is one of my faves I have read in the last 2 and half years of reading indie.
The story flowed well, and I loved all the detail and chemistry between the characters. Bloss and Cam have this intense relationship that you can feel coming off the pages and a few times I had to put my kindle down because it was getting steamy up in there and being at work reading those scenes are not a good idea.
I am not gonna go in to detail about the story as I don't see the point of doing that in a review, read the blurb and then the story. Believe me, you'll thank me for it.
